We like to think of our hackers (when they get you, they are yours forever) as being super STEM-smart computer lab rats, but as “Green Eggs and Dan” host Dan Ahdoot found out, sometimes they are thirteen-year-olds trying to earn some pocket money.

Dan Ahdoot wears a lot of hats: podcast host, stand-up comedian and a regular cast member of the Netflix show Cobra Kai.  He needs social media to get the word out about his upcoming appearances. Unfortunately for him, the key to his accounts was a password he used everywhere and he suffered a take-over.

Find out how a middle schooler’s side hustle turned into an unlikely business relationship and a crash course in password hygiene, and learn about the delicious way anchovies compromise the bellies of two anchovy-hating cybersecurity podcasters.
